New Tour=new Merch?

If you had a Ford F250 with a 12 gallon tank (I know, they don't make those) you'd only pay $45. Just saying. Your fuel-efficiency has no play when it comes down to the fact that we're being gouged like crazy just because they've got us by the balls.

Right, sure.  What the hell can we do about it?

I guess that's kind of my point. I'm not obtuse or unaffected by this. Let me say that first. I remember when gas went from $1.35 to $2.35, though. I remember it dropping to $2 a gallon, hearing people say the words "gas" and "cheap" in the same sentence and thinking "wait, no.... $1.30 is cheap."

As consumers we can't hold our own with this commodity. We can't say, for example, "well we heard your toys have lead in them, China. We're not going to buy them." We don't put toys into our cars. We don't use toys to fuel the machines that get us to work everyday and therein uphold every form of commerce as we know it.

So the door stays on while the people who own the hinges say "give us more grease or the doors come off."

Newsflash, Canada. $6.00 or $6.50 a gallon isn't a bargain. Newsflash, USA. $3.50 isn't a bargain either.

I guess my point is that you've done the necessary research to identify the way to talk to Matthew Good about your music, hobbies, interests, etc. You've done the necessary research to reach a medium of commenting on a $65 hoodie. Those people in your regional offices work for you. My guess is that they are at least a little bit like you. Go to their offices and raise hell with everyone who feels the same way.

Think about it. If your boss doesn't like the quality of your work, then he lets you know. If you're a good employee, then you do something about it.

Together you and I are the bosses. Find out where your representative works and let him know that you're not going to stop reminding him that this needs to be done. If you're not living efficiently, then you need to do it. Then you need to make sure everyone else does it through mandations. It's your Earth, too.

If that doesn't make our Earth more healthy and our lives more affordable/enjoyable, then you need to raise hell about the rusty spot.

Think about it. We're not here solely to carry responsibility. If our lives are filled with stress and responsibilities then what's the value of life? Enjoyment of life really defines these values, and it's clear we're learning that one upholds the other.

You have a means. You have a responsibility. You have the right, and you deserve the enjoyment.

So how's that for "what the hell can we do about it?" I've reminded you of a means of doing something about it. Don't be idle and internet. Go somewhere and get in someone's face. I mean, do it legally of course. That's what a democracy is, dude. If you don't use democracy then that's your fault.
