nice review spring. put out your lights seems to be in an odd place in the set for me but who knows, sounds like a great show.

Thanks so much for that review!! I'm seeing the Toronto show tonight and I'm listening to HM at work right now and it's so hard to get work done :S I'm pumped to hear A Single Explosion (on my headphones right now) and Giant, which is one of my favourite MG songs. Anyone else going to be at the Library Pub before the show?

If you mean what song, likely it is Blue Skies Over Bad Lands.

For a setlist megathread this thread sure doesn't have much in the way of setlists: What is up with you people on this tour? I am slightly disappointed.

 

With tonight's show being in Toronto I expect no excuses for not having a setlist here. Seriously, people need to start posting setlists -- including mentions of whether or not they've played the full band version of Apparitions during a show and not just in soundcheck yet!

 

And for anyone who went to the Massey Hall show... did Matt confirm whether or not he was recording it for a live album? Thanks!

Meg is at the show, and one of my facebook friends is writing down the setlist because I told her to, so we will at least get that.

 

In regards to the lapsteel, it's very clearly heard on Blue Skies on the record, and seeing it performed a couple times live, I remember Christian rocking it, so I'd say that's the song.

Unless I missed it, there was no mention.

 

Great show overall.

 

Apparitions was played with the band as well.

I didn't keep track, but the setlist (encores aside) may have been identical to Fredericton.

 

From what I remember...

 

First Encore:

Giant

Avalanche

She's In It For The Money

Everything Is Automatic

 

Second Encore (Acoustic):

Strange Days

True Love Will Find You In The End
