I love this track... I'm pretty sure it's my favourite song on Underdogs.

 

Was anyone around back in the day and got to hear it live... i'd probably shit my pants if Matt ever played this again.

 

Personally... one of my favourites he's done ever.

The lyrics are what got me hooked as a Matt Good fan.

The opening riff can almost make me cry. Such an intense song. My favourite song from Underdogs by far. The lyrics and the whole feel are very powerful. There is a kind of desperation to it.

Great song. As has already been said, great intro. Great lyrics. Great slow build up to Dave Genn's wicked guitar solo. I especially like the opening lyrics, as mentioned before by someone else, and just before the solo "I feel like swimming in your apathy as a kind of parody for miles and miles and miles".

Yeah the unprocessed feel of that album is definitely part of it's appeal.

i think Change of Season is a great example of this feel, to me it sounds like it was recorded in a similar manner to Seasons by Chris Cornell which was done in a closet with a 4 track.
