Chaotic Neutral 2015/2016 Tour Dates

Recommended Posts

Yeah, you needed to press apply promo code to get the box to input a quantity for regular fan sale, hope it didn't bite ya in the ass too bad.

grabbed some decent seats, pretty excited about the VIP deal.  Last time it was more value obviously in the sense that for $120 you got Arrows on Vinyl a poster and a ticket, so to me all that is worth in the neighbourhood of $100, so you were basically paying $20 for a M&G.  This time though it's alot more unique, going to a soundcheck, getting a Q&A and a private acoustic set, definitely made that appealing for me.  Also like the idea of it being before the show, after the show VIP's, the artist is usually half dead and worn out from performing, especially if its the second or third night in a row.

No it's not that, it's because of the card I use, it has nothing to do with the card but everything to do with the postal code which has 4 digits, but ticketfly only accepts 5 digit postal codes so you need to put a 0 infront of it or else you get an error blaming the card you're using which is so STUPID and they constantly have this problem if you follow them on social media but they don't tell you to add the 0, they just let fans figure it out by themselves.

Now regarding the VIP my girlfriend offered to pay for that for my birthday but VIP is only for Canada & USA billing addresses, she lives in Australia.
So if I wasn't f*cked one way I got f*cked another. I've had the worst luck of my life this month, it's insane.  :colbert:

Welp, get to watch my 2 front row tickets disappear because of this stupid f*cking error"You must use an American Express Card to complete this purchase."

Second time I've used ticketfly and it's the same old bullsh*t. UGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH :fp:

Brb jumping off something mildly high.

I have had problems in the past as well. This time I had my payment information entered into my account before I looked for tickets. Checkout was much easier.

Sorry you didn't get front row however, hopefully, you still got great seats?

I was logged in with my information typed out too, but nope. I had problems with this website before and it's unbearable.

SEATING WISE I am now in Row 2 Seat 25 on Day 1 & Row 2 Seat 9 on Day 2, no thanks to me having errors and resulting in me constantly having to refresh & get new seats, I went from row 6 to row 10 then back to row 2 which was a sign from god himself (or the devil, pick your poison).  I have no complaints with row 2, but now apparently I'm unable to get VIP!! SO THERE'S THAT.

I'm dead tired waiting for 10am lol, I just want to be front row for 1 MG concert before I die!

In 14 years, the closest I have ever been at a MG concert was second row. There must be an art to getting first row. I haven't been able to master it yet. American Express card holders are lucky. They usually get first dibs.

This time though it's alot more unique, going to a soundcheck, getting a Q&A and a private acoustic set, definitely made that appealing for me.  Also like the idea of it being before the show, after the show VIP's, the artist is usually half dead and worn out from performing, especially if its the second or third night in a row.

I totally agree with you. Beforehand, the artist will probably be in a upbeat mood, refreshed, and ready to go. Hopefully, that will make it a more fun experience.

Quick question (please answer right away if you know!): When I am looking at tickets for the Winnipeg show (my gf and I might make the inter-provincial trip since he's not playing in Saskatchewan), only some seats are open, in weird places. Are only certain seats available for the fan pre-sale? Or does that mean the rest have already been purchased? I can't imagine that hundreds of people in Winnipeg have already purchased tickets this morning for the fan pre-sale...

I'm just wondering at this point if it makes more sense to wait until the general tickets go on sale and get a much better seat than the pre-sale ones. Here's a map, to give you an idea. The deep blue are open to fans right now, and the light blue are only available to fans who also have an American Express card (which is really despicable...I wish TicketMaster would die). So I assume that most of the grey ones are really just not open for sale yet, right? They can't all be sold.

Yes, usually only a certain block of seats are made available for the pre-sale, this is to ensure there are still seats available when the general sale starts.  If you aren't on it at the very start of the pre-sale, it's usually to your advantage to wait and get right in at the start of the general sale.  You'll probably see some of the better seats available then (no guarantees of course).

I got front row for Nanaimo, just like 2013. I also got first balcony Edmonton, because I'm going with four people. Fifth row in Calgary. Pretty good turn of events, I think. Problem is, I didn't have enough to upgrade to the VIP packages. Does anyone know how long of a period we have purchase the upgrades?

Ouch to the wallet. I don't really mind since I have most of his merchandise anyways & will get VIP for both Vancouver shows because the experience of seeing soundcheck/Q&A/Acoustic set is priceless to me. But I can see how some would be turned away from it considering you don't really get anything other than an experience. Which again I'd pay $1000000000 for something like that because he's my favorite artist, but for an example the Arrows of Desire tour my friend & I got VIP because it was convenient for us not having to go out and buy the vinyl/cd/poster since it's put into the price of VIP & you got to meet Matthew Good which is still unknown if he'll even be doing a meet & greet on this tour.

Disclaimer: I'm not complaining btw.

Oh boy.

VIP UPGRADE Packages (104.99) + Premium Floor ticket (65.50) = $170.49

This is probably the most expensive concert of my life. It better be good. just kidding.

I hope he doesn't have cool 20th anniversary merch. I may have to buy that too.

I'm not complaining either btw.

I've paid for VIP packages 3 times in my life, and they have been mixed:

- Our Lady Peace "Evening With" tour (3 hour show with just them, like 35 songs since they played their CD Clumsy as the opening act, then took a break and did a 22-song normal concert, it was amazing). Got to spend 15 minutes alone with the band with 3 other people at a time. Chatted, got pictures and stuff signed, etc. Really cool experience, and totally worth it. I think the ticket was $200 in total, but also included the concert and a bunch of exclusive merch

- Matthew Good LoES tour. Stood in a line for 30 minutes with 50 people, got less than 1 minute with Matt, took a picture with him sitting down and he signed one thing, and I was shuffled along. Was not worth the price at all.

- Matthew Good Arrows tour. Had to cancel the trip up to Saskatoon as I was very ill and couldn't see the show or get the VIP merch. Tried to get my VIP merch mailed to me, was never helped by the company.

Based on my one experience with paying VIP for a Matthew Good show I wouldn't do it again. I got a 12x12 LoES poster signed by him, and then a painting my friend did, and 1 minute with him where he just said "nice to meet you," looked at the camera, and was moved along. Probably not his fault entirely as he's exhausted after a show, but it wasn't worth it.

I am fairly new around here...as in I rarely post. I am very excited to announce I will be seeing my first Matthew Good show in Canada this fall. I've been lucky enough to see him twice in Philadelphia and once in NYC. I was kinda apprehensive about making the trip but I am hoping it's worth the hassle in crossing the boarder. It's a royal pain in the butt anymore.

Anyway...I'm psyched.

Hey everyone. I just signed up to this forum and was hoping someone could help me.

I´ve been a Matthew Good fan for over 15 years now. Living in Brazil and being brazilian has always made things tough when it comes to seeing my favorite artists. I`ve been to Canada twice but always missed Matt's tours.

I'm migrating to Canada later this year and I'm going to be able to catch him live for this tour's final gig in Hamilton - I'll be living in Toronto but will only land on December 8, so I'll miss both gigs in the city.

I'm trying to buy a pit seat for myself in Hamilton but I need an offer code. I've already reached out to Matt on twitter and on instagram hoping I can get one so I can save my seat as early as possible - as this is going to be a dream come true for me.

Can anyone help me getting an offer code for the Hamilton gig?

I couple of years back I almost caught Matt live in Canada but I ended up not being able to make it as I was in NYC. I emailed him and answered me back saying that if I happened to make it to the show he'd grant me backstage access to meet him. Since then that gmail of his has been disabled and I couldn't get a hold of him again.

I hope you all understand and are able to help me somehow. Thanks a lot!

Two tickets for Hamilton. I will be driving up (about seven hours) for the show. I've never been in Hamilton, just Toronto and Niagara Falls. Any recommendations for things to do, places to eat or bars would be appreciated if you're willing to PM me.

My recommendation is to leave Hamilton and go somewhere else, lol.

There's a pretty big mall there, the Upper Canada Mall.  It's decent.  You could go catch an OHL hockey game if you're a fan of hockey.  I've only eaten at chain restaurants there, but The Keg is always a good choice if you don't mind paying a bit for a good steak.  You're also really close to other great cities too.

I was afraid someone would say that. I won't have a GPS (without big data fees) so I guess I will just hit the show and head back across the border. I wish I could catch the Toronto show but the wife's work schedule will not allow. Toronto is probably the nicest, friendliest and cleanest large city I have ever visited. I wish it was closer.
