I happen to think that this record is pretty stellar. Right from the get go, it rocks, plain and simple. For the most part, it's just snappy rock tunes, but then there's a few songs that are completely different then anything else on the record. I say kudos on a great piece of work. Appreciate it for what it is, which is a really good rock record. Something that's really hard to find these days. And stop whinning for another BM or AOB. It ain't going to happen. Move on. Apparently Matt has.

Easily blue skies, the whole beginning of the song sets the tone, its trippy and it almost makes you turn it right up, its an amazing song

I would have to say the Blue Skies over badlands is the most overrated song on White Light, and it does not make a good opener for his concerts.

 

My Fav, North American for Life, or maybe Little terror.

My favorite personal song off of the album is "Blue Skies Over Badlands", "Little Terror" is a close second, and as my favorite to listen to with others.

For me it's Buffalo Seven, VERY closely followed by Badlands, & closely followed again by Bad Idea & Empty Road. I do really like this album, but it really has such a different feel from anything else he has done. I have not got as heavily into it as his others (that is pretty damn heavy mind you!!!!). I am on an Avalanche trip again now actually. I'm lovin' Pledge all over again!!!!! Rabbits...Fantastica....Lullaby! Wow, what an album!!!
