Finally got my copy today, looks like yours and its really faint, like the pen was running out of ink ;)

 

I don't really care though, it's the music that counts.

Don't know about the one in the middle but the two on the sides are similar.

 

Edit: upon closer inspection the middle one is also somewhat similar. Look at the curves and pressure points.

I think the point they're trying to make here is, what's the point of shelling out 5 extra bucks for it if you aren't going to be able to sell it for twice the price 10 years later on eBay?

i got matt's signature at a concert, and i don't really care if there is a huge demand for it... it's just a great memory for me of meeting my favourite artist...

It's the real deal. I've noticed Matt has a tendancy to do half assed sigs when he does them in bulk. It's still his signature, just a really quick way to do it.

 

I've met him on two seperate occasions, and I have 9 things signed all together. They all look like the pic I'm posting. Cause he took his time, and he wasn't rushing when meeting with people. If you even look closely, he personalized it with my name.

 

But even the "shitty" signature resembles the "legit" one. And regardless, it's still signed by Matt. So you can't really say hey, "Make a better signature asshole."

 

Have you seen Christian's sig? He wrote "CTV" in clear printing in my Avalanche liner notes, it looks like a fucking preschooler wrote it, but I'm still happy cause he signed my booklet.

I watched him personally sign a poster at one of the shows. Maybe he's simplified his signature in the recent years, but during the Avalanche tour I got his signature. I can post a picture of it (along with Christian T.V. and others) if you need.

That is pretty disappointing. I don't have one myself, but I'd bet that that one is not legit. I have always been tempted to buy something that is signed on eBay, but I keep talking myself out of it - I only want something signed if I meet him, and he signs is just for me.

The copy that I got has a sig that looks pretty much the same as the one I have on my WLRRR copy that I got at the Mac Hall show in Calgary last year.

That does look kind of funny. I grabbed a signed copy of WLR&RR last year in Edmonton, it looks like this. Upside down i think.
