I wont lie.

I havent read any post in this thread, just so I wouldnt go on a testicle tearing rampage.

I see nothing wrong with Emo. It's like ANY other fucking genre of music.

Look what Green Day did to Punk.

Remember when Green Day was Punk? ACTUAL punk? Many kids now call them punk. They're pop now. Green Day watered punk down to some sort of pussy melodic bullshit.

Back to emo. Emo is a trend. It will pass. Why let it cram sand in your vagina?

You know what trend pisses me off more? People who are super anti-emo. Why not be anti-punk. Or anti-grunge, or hell, why not even anti-country?

Country is worse than emo. Emo people have to be a certain thin-ness to be emo, but hell, for country, you have to be BORN in a certain area.

And have you ever read a country song? With no music? Its more emo than emo music.

Why not be mad at rap? For glorifying killing, and objectifying women? Surely the hip-hop/rap scene objectifying women, and gang warfare is much more important than a bunch of kids in tight clothes.

Those emo kids will fuck you up. Watch out.

And I would actually like to point out, that the kids who care more about the shows, and the look, rather than the music, are scene kids. Not emo. The myspace kids, are scene kids, not emo. Emo's are the people who like the music. Scene kids are the kids who like the SCENE. The look. The ones who want to be accepted.

Dont lump me in with the pussies who style their hair for 40 minutes so they can go see a band that they heard about earlier that day.

Matt Good emo? I really don't think so.

fearless is pretty emo, as is can't get shot in the back, sort of a protest song, and probably half the demos.

i really don't care to remember them right now.

You're kidding, right?

no. actually i'm not.

Can't argue with a man who loves his penis. Besides the Greenday comment, I agree with you.

Its true though.

Green Day used to be punk.

Green Day is still apparently "punk".

Compare American Idiot (the CD) to Dookie.

One of them is punk. The other is pop.

your definition of punk needs to be rewired.

punk is not just 3 chords on an electric guitar.

Yes, they did.

Back in the early 90's they were considered "punk".

Then they signed to a major label, we're still considered punk, but changed their sound, and thusly changed the sound of mainstream punk with them.

And to the other person, when did I say punk wsa 3 chords on an electric guitar? Thats Oi, not Punk.
