he played them by himself. Tonite in london he played 3 acoustic songs,

I loved this show! Matt performed one of his best. The only thing I would change would be the setlist. too many singles. i understand he probably wanted to satisfy those who bought in a coma but i was hoping for more than that.

 

I thought the crowd was tolerable, the only exception being the drunks who were grinding up against me.

 

I stood outside the bus for too long in the cold as well. lol. 8 years and still no matt! meeting christian, pat & rich was great though.

hopefully he'll come back to k-w next time around!

he wanted to see matt good sooooooo bad and i had pairs of tickets for the kitchener and london

 

should gave him kitchener instead, was the crowd any better in london?

Yep, pretty much the same routine goes down at every show across Canada...Hellotimebombers come out of the woodwork to check out a live show, and then proceed to go Katrina in the moshpit to songs like Avalanche....Prior to the release of Avalanche(the album), Matt played House of Smoke and Mirrors at a show in Vancouver at the Commodore, and yes, believe it or not, I took some jackasses foot in the head as he moshed by to that song. Idiots are idiots, period. The ONLY show I've experienced in my life where 'moshing' was disrupted was at a Radiohead gig in Calgary where Thom Yorke STOPPED the band during the opening song and told people that they must be at the wrong show. He also indicated he would be leaving if the 'nonesense' continued. The majority of the crowd applauded, it was unbelievable.

Anyway, back to my knitting.

That's awesome about Radiohead.

 

The worst I've seen so far in my 10+ concert-going career, is last year at the Kool Haus.

 

There was a small group of moshers at the Matt Good concert last fall. The main one had a long spiked mohawk and was moshing constantly.

 

Matt seemed to tolerate it until they started moshing to "Can't get shot in the back if you don't run". That's when Matt got pissed and starting swearing and making fun of the moshers.

 

My friend talked to the spike guy and he seemed cool about it after though. Maybe he did too many drugs to care ;)
