What Was The Last Movie You Saw?

Recommended Posts

Just finished I Am Legend and while I thoroughly enjoyed the premise of the film - the [kinda]apocalypse as well as the infected - I wasn't overly enthralled. I wasn't expecting the movie to be such a character piece. I was hoping for more of a character-driven action flick.

I watch Will Smith movies to be entertained, I don't watch them expecting them to be artistically minded.

I like Smokin' Aces a lot as an action movie. They went and tried to make it a serious plot twist drama, but there was some really cool action in there.

The best is when Ryan Reynolds runs out of bullets and just throws his gun. Also, the randomly on fire guy was a good time.

no country for old men. i wasn't disappointed, which i have been with every recentlt hyped movie (i haven't heard anyone hype this one). fuck, that main hit man guy was creepy. i want to see a movie with him, christopher walken, and david cross in it. that would be the creepiest movie ever. wouldn't even matter what the movie was about.

It would be awesome if it was the three of them, just sitting around peeling oranges, commenting on oranges and eating oranges. Walken would say; "I like oranges. Oranges are tasty." The creepy guy from No Country would shoot the oranges as they sit on the trees and David Cross would try to put cut-off jeans on all of the oranges.

The only thing I had to say about it was the ending where Westley didn't  actually fight, I would have liked to see him duel again. But alas.

That's the way the book ends, but yeah, I've always wanted to see another Westley fight.

EDIT:

Last movie I watched was Eastern Promises, and I thought it was fantastic.

I watched Sweeney Todd yesterday, good movie. Surprisingly bloody, but completely Tim Burton. I personally liked it, but the music felt almost out of place.

Watched "PS I Love You" tonight, and I figured I'd be fine, even though the trailer made me cry BUCKETS. The movie was just as bad. I could barely pay attention because I was spending too much time trying not to sob.

and it's not even that engrossing a story. I just personally found it so heartbreaking.
