Her cover of The Velvet Underground's 'I Found a Reason' is so amazing, and I find it actually haunting. I first heard it on the V for Vendetta soundtrack, and immediatly bought it on itunes. If you haven't heard it, check it out.

It's Cat Power. And yes, she's a great singer/songwriter. She put a new album out recently called The Greatest, but my favorite album of hers is You Are Free. She also put out a covers album. And her cover of Wonderwall is pretty damn good.

She was also on the new Handsome Boy Modeling School cd as well. Very cool performance. Haven't heard much of her other stuff, but I've been meaning to.

Meh. I become wary when something shows me undaunting love (as in, canines)
