Thats not the point.

I only golf at the massive family golf tournament. But don't you know it's not a real tournament when the winner gets to wear a Hawaiian shirt and the person with the worst score wins a prize?

Also; it's not a real family golf tournament when my cousin from the other side of my family takes place and wins a prize.

Don't you guys know that golf's not a real sport...

I never claimed it was. In fact I've stated before someone it is not a real sport. But that doesn't mean I don't enjoy playing it.

And to OTP- I'm gonna try to return it and get a new one, hopefully it still has a warranty. Because I was just starting to get good with it.

I need a new driver, there's something that's broken in the shaft of my current one. I've been hitting my 7-wood off the tee for the past couple of rounds, I can hit that thing like nothing though, so it works out, but still I'd rather have another 30 yards or so.

The lenght of the club usually has an effect on how well you hit the ball. The shaft in your 7 wood is shorter then in your driver, which in turn will give you accuracy and more then likely more consistant results. The flex of the shaft could also be an issue. but that's something you've gotta figure out on the driving range.

and no pet peve yet today since I just woke up.

theres a lot more that determines how well someone hits a ball. weight of club head, your swing, and confidence in club selection far outweighs the numbers.

i have a taylormade R7 fairway 5 wood that i can hit almost as far as my 450cc callaway titanium driver, same shaft. i hit it farther because its my favorite club, and the weight of the head allows my swing to be much more fluid. i've had pros tell me that if i could swing all my clubs the way i swing my R7 5 i would play a much more consistant game. that being said... who wants my Nike?

And yes I will agree that confidence has alot to do with the game in general. The moment you doubt your self on a shot you've basically almost for sure messed up the shot. Look and feel also play a huge role in club selection and performance.

Well I'd tell you what if you had the Nike NDS, 3 and 5 woods, Left handed with stiff shafts we may have a deal.. But I reacently just bought a cobra 400SZ so I'm doing fine on the driver end of my game.

its a righty anyways.

i've completely revamped my bag this year, and the only club i have left from last year is the driver, which i was using on narrow fairways because the control is unreal, but now i've got command of the ins and outs of this new driver and the nike sits in my trunk waiting for a new owner.

I need mine fixed it's cracked where the shaft connects to the head... It's custom made so I don't want to just get a new one

That's cool I've totally almost revamped my golf bag as well, like I said I'm just looking for the 3 and 5 woods.. other then that it's done. I upgraded to my cobra driver, with some Tommy Armour Irons. and an Odyssey dual force #2 putter.

ughh, i cant stand that dual force putter. scotty cameron studio newport for me. if i was ever going to go with oddyssey it would have to be an xg.

if you have a golf town in your area, try the ping g5 woods before committing to the nikes... or the taylormade r7s.... amazing.

Haha I wish I could afford a scotty cameron putter and I like the way the odyssey rolls the ball. And I do have a golf town close by, but haven't been in a while. but I will keep in mind the pings and the taylor made's the next time I'm there.

and on a side note anyone know any cheap places to play in Ottawa?
