There's still hope I think because Ryan told me that there are a bunch of versions of this song. So maybe that's not the version on the future LL album

who cares.

 

also... the version sans matt has been up for a long time. maybe it was taken down at some point, but matt was never featurrred on the version they have on myspace. maybe because limblifter arent jackpillowhead?

That is not true, at some point, Matt was still doing the back vocals and that's how I made the mix between songs. I used the beginning of the jackpillowhead where Matt sings "Tonight, a bird will fly..." and then pasted the rest of the song that was up a couple of months ago were Matt still sung "I never wanna go we'll stay home"

Isn't that Matt who does backup on Alarm Bells? Right around 1:11?

Edit: And yeah, the drumming is very minimalist. Apparently they got to the studio and Ryan told the drummer "no cymbals" or something like that. There's still some in there, but they are scarce.
