Adobe's products are all have mac versions available.

 

I've never had a problem ripping any cds using iTunes, and I've ripped a fuck load, including ones with copy protection, so you should be fine there. It's also a breeze to burn with.

 

Toast is actually pretty good. I haven't had to use it much since I usually use iTunes to burn cds and just use the finder to burn data. I use it mainly to encode and burn DVDs, and haven't had any problems with it so far.

 

I've never really had problems using any software since I've become an Apple user, to be honest. It seems as though everything is just built much stronger for Macs.

 

If you've already spent the money on a lot of software for your pc, you may want to get some stuff for your mac by other means...I'll assume you know what I mean, but if you need help in that department, send me a message and I'll give you some tips.

Well it's the Macbook with the 2.0 ghz processor. Only a 60 gig hard drive and 512 mb ram but I'm looking into upgrades I promise.

The hard drive's not a big deal; I've got an 80G external we can use. That ram though...you better be thinking upgrade. I want like 2G on that baby by the wedding. I'm loving the sounds of your processor though. RRRRrrrr.
