Hey Charles, I hope everything works out for the best.

 

I hope I have no deaths this year. But the trend seems to be increasing in numbers every year.

I decided to change my resolution to becoming a huge bitch, because being nice doesn't seem to get me anywhere, except for where I don't wan't to be.

The world isn't so bad. There's music and cookies and kittens and stuff!

And to Adam's point about alcohol, I have a small tale to tell.

 

I haven't consumed any significant amount of alcohol since I was 17. I quit for several reasons:

a) I don't like the taste of alcohol, have pretty sensitive taste buds and can taste it in pretty much any drink.

b) I never really liked the buzz that much, particularly in contrast to being stoned.

c) I'd rather be the driver and make sure all my friends and I get home alive.

 

There are a few other reason, but anyways...

 

I made a deal with my best friend that if she passed her GED (which she did, of course) I would get drunk with her. So...if I suddenly appear in the drunk thread on a week long bender, you know who to blame.

I don't miss alcohol...accept every now and then I remember how good something tasted...but I accept my role as perenial designated driver. Besides drunk people are funny when you're sober.
