You can't travel faster than light. That's because mass increases as velocity increases, and mass approaches infinity as velocity approaches c, so it would take an infinite amount of energy to propel an object at or beyond light speed.

Also, how would an outside observer view someone as travelling through time? Man that's some fucked up shit.

Don't make me haul out the time travel theory. I've seen brains physically twist up like a rubber band airplane.

Bitch, please, I've watched information videos on the 10th dimension at 3 in the morning and turned out just fine.

Oh don't be fooled. I have no formal training. Almost everything I know is based on heresay and the theories of people who may not have achieved any notoriety in their field. It is, nontheless, easy to confuse people with it.

NERD fight. ;) engage photon beam (flash-light) weeeooo vvrrrshmm waooh

I like these topics, I don't know much about physics. someone should make a physics question/answer thread

I guarantee it would mostly consist of "HOLY FUCK I HATE PHYSICS AND PHYSICISTS AND THE PHYSICS-SCIENTIFIC COMPLEX" from anyone who has taken it, especially me. The whole way that phycists look at, approach and solve various problems is overly complicated and cerebral compared to the way chemists do it.

I have a bit of a love-hate relationship with math. I can do it, but far too often (i.e. right now) it devolves into doing math for the sake of doing math. You're given a problem with no known practical application, and you give a solution with no practical application. We don't even use numbers anymore. And if we do, they're not even real numbers. They're pi and e.

Oh yeah, I know that. Have you seen this?

Also, if you have a large chunk of time, this is amazing as well...
