i'm not going to get into a soccer argument... i know nothing about american league soccer, or its history, it just so happens that someone in whitecaps ownership is a client of mine and most meetings start off with small talk

Greg Kurfoot is the only owner of the 'Caps if I remember correctly. Also, Bob Lilley was attempting to play a couple exhibition games with the LA team well before Beckham came. He's just friends with their coach and wanted to play them in an exhibition game.
