Patti Smith is fantastic, everyone should get this.

Anyway, I finally transfered all my files to my new computer so let me know what do you want me to upload. I think there was a request for Keren Ann? And besides that I can't really remember.

The Yardbirds, Amon Tobin and Captain Beyond were really sweet from shade's post... all recommended.

Stone Temple Pilots man. Yeah. I don't know. EDIT sorry I should say I never really got into them. Though I do like the song "Sour Girl."

I think people should go here and download the T

Fuckers finally fixed my internet, so here goes nothing.

Mono - Formica Blues

Not the Japanese noise rock band... trip hop.

The The - The Mind Bomb

Sweet political music, written in the 80s, still applies now.

Billy Bragg - The Peel Session Album

No fancy schmancy production... just guitar and vocals mostly. Awesome.

shweet, Billy Bragg

Edit: I find the songs that were already just him and a guit are the same.....the more interesting tracks are the ones that used to have a full band...ie new brunette

Understandable. I was mostly referring to the fact that there isn't the stupid stuff included like there is on the most recent releases such as England, Half English and William Bloke. The Peel Sessions are cool because it's more like Life's A Riot or Taxman in sound and production which are my favourites.

Len - We Be Who We Be

this is Len. They had two big songs in the 90's. This is their album We Be Who We Be.

Listen to it with an open mind. I consider this to be a fun record. Start with Come Together, and stick around for the Kookoo Docks and the sweet cover of Cool It Now, and the appearance of Biz Markie towards the end.

the cover or the ep?

if you meant the ep, you're crazy. if you meant the cover, you're still a little crazy.

anyone have full length albums sans covers?

Ha, no there's a song on that EP called No Fun. It's a cover of The Stooges song.

I definitely do not like the new Rilo Kiley.

OH. Got it.

Mmkay.

Hold on, I've got a link to it. I just uploaded it for a friend on Sendspace.

Rilo Kiley - Under The Blacklight

Also, for Black Keys stuff, this blog seems to have a lot, but I have no clue if the links still work or not:

'Suicide is the influential first studio album by American punk band Suicide, released in 1977. It is often cited as the first synth pop album, but is much heavier than anything that followed. In 2003, the album was ranked number 446 on Rolling Stone magazine's list of the 500 greatest albums of all time.' - wiki
